These terms apply to the services of berniedev, a web design and development business operated by Bernardo de Jesús Aguilar Fernández de Castro, a sole proprietor based in Durango, Mexico (“berniedev”, “we”, “us”). By using our website, our previews or our services, you agree to them.

Our services

We design, build, host and maintain websites for businesses. The scope, price and timeline of each project are agreed in writing (by email or through our website) before work begins.

Website previews

We sometimes prepare a free preview of a new website for a business, using the text and information already public on its current website and stock photos. A preview is private, is not listed on search engines, comes with no obligation and is taken down after its preview period or as soon as the business asks, using the button on the preview or by contacting us.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Deposits, installments and any monthly fees for hosting and maintenance are described on the quote or payment page for each project. Monthly plans can be cancelled as described when you sign up.

Text messages (SMS)

When you contact us by text or ask us to text you, we use text messages to reply to your questions, schedule calls and send updates about your project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help, or contact us at info@berniedev.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Your content

You keep the rights to the content you give us (text, logos, photos). You confirm you have the right to use it. Once a project is paid in full, the website we built for you is yours to use.

Limitation of liability

We work carefully, but our services are provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
