berniedev is a web design and development business operated by Bernardo de Jesús Aguilar Fernández de Castro, a sole proprietor based in Durango, Mexico (“berniedev”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number and the details of your project, when you fill out a form on our website, email us, call us or text us.
Information about your business that is publicly available, such as your business website, business phone number and business email, which we may use to prepare a website preview for you.
Basic usage information when you visit a preview we prepared for you, such as the pages viewed, the time of the visit and an approximate location, used only to know whether the preview reached you.

How we use it

To answer your questions and give you quotes.
To schedule calls and send updates about your project or the services you requested.
To provide, host and maintain your website.
To process payments through our payment provider.

Text messages (SMS)

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or our phone provider, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We send text messages only to people who contacted us or asked us to text them, to reply to their questions, schedule calls and share updates about their project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers we need to run the business, such as our website hosting, email and phone providers and our payment processor (Stripe), and only to provide our services. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while we are in contact or working together, and as long as needed for our legal and accounting obligations. Website previews are taken down after their preview period or as soon as you ask.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your information, to take down a preview we made for you, or to stop contacting you. Just email us or reply to any message.
